You can donate to Plano Community Homes directly using cash, check and credit card.  You can also donate when you purchase things online at no-cost to you.

 

Why We Need Donations.

 

Plano Community Home, Inc. is a community based nonprofit company that has provided low income and very low income HUD subsidized senior housing for over 30 years.  The HUD subsidy provides the funds for the day to day operations and maintenance of the buildings.

   

All donations and contributions are used to directly improve the quality of life for our residents.  We cannot offer the amenities and much needed lifestyle activities without help.  Your financial support allows us to add dignity to the lives of those we serve by offering independent living. In the past donations have helped:

 

• Funds for removal of bath tubs and replace them with roll in showers to ensure that our disabled residents can have easy access.

 

• Funds to acquire and maintain a fleet of 5 vehicles to provide transportation for over 500 residents in two counties.

 

• Funds over a number years to replace the wall mounted emergency pull chord system. Pull chords required that a resident would need to be near the chord in the event of an emergency.  We replaced the pull chord system with wearable pendants that the resident can have with them at all times.

 

• Funds for gardening equipment, seeds and plants for resident gardens.

 

• Funds for flu, foot care, blood pressure checks and other wellness checks.

 

Contributions to PCH, a tax-exempt organization under Section 501 (c) 3 of the IRS code, are deductible for computing Income and Estate Taxes.

 

How to Make a Donation with Cash, Check or Credit Card?
